The base for the TOPCAR 991 Stinger program is the Porsche 911 Turbo S. This is a well-known high-performance platform that tingles the imagination for almost every petrolhead out there. The vehicle owes its popularity due to the amazing performance and a timeless design, but also, the feasibility of the platform to receive wide array of aftermarket upgrades. For this particular 991 STINGER GTR, TOPCAR went with a stunning looking Felix Ferro unit that features all the bells and whistles offered by the Russian tuner.

In its stock form, the Porsche 911 Turbo derives its power from a 3.8-litre, twin-turbo six-cylinder engine that delivers 540 horsepower (397kW) and 487 lb⋅ft of torque – allowing it to achieve the impressive acceleration & top speed. When Launch Control is utilized, the “normal” 911 Turbo will accelerate from 0-62mph (0-100 km/h) in 3.0 seconds. It will reach a top speed of 320 km/h – but for some, that wasn’t enough.

Hence, Porsche released the 911 Turbo S, powered by the same 3.8-liter engine, but delivering 580 horsepower and 516 lb⋅ft of torque. It achieves its sporty stature thanks to larger turbochargers and electronics which are further optimized for performance. In turn, this allows the 911 Turbo S to accelerate from 0-62mph (0 to 100 km/h) in just 2.8 seconds, a sprint from 0 to 125mph (200 km/h) in 9.9 seconds and a top speed of a whopping 205mph (330 km/h).

But, for the one percenters, even that wasn’t enough. Cue TOPCAR and their STINGER GTR tuning program.

Their package contains both visual and performance upgrades. First, the Russian tuner upgraded the vehicle’s performance with a slight power bump  – the 911 Turbo S now delivers a whopping 750 horsepower.  This is done VIA a completely upgraded exhaust system and ECU tuning. Additionally, the TOPCAR STINGER GTR features an upgraded brake system, providing the driver with much-improved stopping power – something that the driver will definitely need due to all that extra horsepower.

This Felix Ferro 911 STINGER GTR also received a complete carbon fiber treatment from TOPCAR: it comes with an 18-part package, offering aggressive styling and enhancements for the Porsche 911 Turbo S. The package consists of the carbon fiber replacements for the front and rear bumpers, front fenders and side skirts, followed by carbon fiber elements on the doors, a set of wider rear fenders, a carbon fiber roof and a clean looking rear carbon fiber wing to top it all off.

The cabin features a two-tone aesthetic, mixed in with yellow instrument dials, a selection of carbon fiber inserts across the dashboard, center console, door panels and steering wheel, and yellow contrast stitching. Not everyone’s cup of tea, but it sure looks aggressive.

The final touch for this Porsche 911 Turbo STINGER GTR is a set of ADV5 M.V2 SL wheels. Machined in a centerlock configuration, these lightweight five-spoke wheels clear the PCCB (Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake) system and its large calipers without any drama, allowing for a much more aggressive fitment than an OEM wheel setup. For this build, the wheels are sized 21×9 and 21×11.5 in the front and rear, respectively. Customary to TOPCAR, the wheels feature a clean looking Liquid Smoke finish. Finally, the tuner chose an Exposed Hardware Option for their wheels, a classy detail that gives the wheels that much more intricate overall look.
