ADV.1 WHEELS TERMS, CONDITIONS, RETURNS AND WARRANTY INFORMATION
THE ADV.1 GUARANTEE
ADV.1 Wheels are backed by the industry’s strongest guarantee possible, LIFETIME coverage structure & warranty / repair support. We know our wheels are by no means inexpensive and often times they do take long to produce. The reason for this is, in part, due to the quality and safety standards by which we abide. We are 100% committed to supporting our clients. We absolutely, without hesitation, accept any warranty issues, damages, or refinishes regardless of the cause though only valid warranty issues will be performed at no charge. As an ADV.1 customer, your safety and satisfaction is our primary focus. We’re well aware of the costs involved and the manpower necessary to properly support our clients when in need. It’s part of our business model. It’s a calculated expense and our way of saying thank you for choosing ADV.1 Wheels.
No matter what the problem is, warranty or not, US or Internationally, we’ll do whatever necessary to properly support our clients and ensure their safety. Our wheels are manufactured not only for aesthetics, but equally as important, they’re made for long term reliability, performance and quality. We’re 100% confident in our product. Because of this, we’re happy to offer our support to any and all ADV.1 customers regardless of where they purchased the wheels or when they were produced.
This Warranty is given only to the original consumer / purchaser of ADV.1 Wheels. This warranty is not transferable. PROOF OF PURCHASE is required for all warranty work – be sure to keep your original invoice.
WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURES & GUIDELINES:

The reported issue or issues will be reviewed within 24 hours, and a detailed response including instructions on how to best resolve the issue will be sent. There are no pre-determined guidelines by which we need to abide. Each claim is resolved on a case-by-case basis regardless of who’s at fault or what caused the problem. We’ll take care of it without hesitation. If it’s a non-warranty repair issue, we’re also happy to cover it however you’d like, at minimal costs. Refinishing and repair work is performed in-house and is not a profit center for ADV.1. Therefore if any costs are in fact incurred in these cases, the cost of material and labor is directly passed along to you. We do not have a set pricing structure for non-warranty repair work. The price of the necessary parts and labor is determined once said wheels are received and the damage assessed. At that time, we will provide a written estimate on the job at a price based on our cost of material and labor. Should a rough estimate be required prior to the wheels being shipped, we would be happy to provide one. You would simply provide as much information as possible via email, and we will provide you with a rough estimate. These things happen, and we prefer to take care of any rebuilds, repairs and / or refinishing in-house to ensure that the wheels are properly assembled and / or finished to avoid safety and quality issues in the future.
Every single wheel is linked to a 4 digit number which is the wheels identification. By pulling the history on the number, we’re able to see all original order details, communication corresponding to the order, and post order notes, if any. With this being said, there are no untraceable issues or un-resolvable cases that we’re unable to remedy. If ever you would like to obtain this information from us, please feel free to email or call us anytime with your request.
The wheels you are purchasing are custom built, custom tailored, and specifically finished to your taste. They are precise fit wheels, meaning they are not universal and will ONLY fit your vehicle. The wheels are not kept in stock as inventory and are specifically machined for you, and only you, when the order is placed. With this being said once and order is placed, it is non-cancelable. Your deposit is non-refundable, and you are entering into a signed agreement with our company. Once you receive your invoice, you have 24 hours to make any revisions. If we do not receive any written communication reflecting changes within 24 hours, we assume that the order is correct. It will then go into production as-is. Once production begins, changes may be granted at the discretion of ADV1. If no communication is received prior to the 24 hour grace period, you are in essence confirming that you will fulfill your obligation to purchase these wheels as specified in the invoice. Under no circumstances can an order be returned. However should an order have a problem, we do have our warranty policy explaining details on how the problem will be addressed. We do not guarantee delivery time. As stated, these are custom built wheels and can take long periods of time to produce depending on the circumstances. We give you an estimated time of delivery, however, we cannot guarantee it.
We offer a 3-year warranty on finish / lifetime warranty coverage on structural claims excluding those resulting from improper use or damage. The finish on these parts is covered up to 3 years, excluding scratches and user neglect/error. See product care sheet for cleaning instructions and information on how to care for your wheels. Should there be any issues on the finish, i.e., chrome peeling or pitting, paint chipping, etc., it is your responsibility to have the wheel or wheels returned safely to our facility at your own expense / liability unless the claim has been pre-authorized by ADV.1 for warranty coverage. In this case, we will coordinate with you on retrieval of the wheels at our expense. Once received, we will then inspect the product and check for any issues that merit a warranty claim. Should the wheels have a warranty issue, we will fix the problem and send the wheels back to you at our expense. If it is found that the issue is not due to workmanship or quality but rather user neglect or error, then the customer is responsible for all shipping and handling charges as well as repair costs. It is also your responsibility to get the wheels back to us safely and packaged properly. We are not responsible for shipping damages. Please call us to discuss any warranty issues prior to sending the wheels. We also require that you send us photos of the problem via email prior to sending the wheels. Your approval of the specifications listed in the invoice, which are based on information you have supplied to ADV1, constitutes your acceptance of responsibility that such fitment specifications will properly fit the intended vehicle application. If resulting wheel manufactured by ADV1 does not properly fit the vehicle for any reason other than a material defect or engineering mistake (excluding offsets unless not provided for approval in which case we assume liability for incorrect et’s), rework / repair charges will apply for any manufacturing required to correct the wheels. Should you receive the wheels and there is a problem with fitment, please call us and explain the problem. If the problem is, in fact, a valid fitment issue, we will instruct you about proper packaging and information regarding shipping the wheels back to us at our expense. Once received, we will fix any existing fitment problem.
THESE PROBLEMS CAN INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- incorrect center bore
- incorrect width, inner or outer size other than specified on the invoice
- wrong diameter
- the offset is incorrect unless et was provided initially on the invoice and / or drawings were provided once engineered.
None of the above-mentioned items warrant a cancelation or a refund, however, we will do everything necessary to ensure that the problem is fixed to your satisfaction regardless of who is at fault or who will be liable for expenses.
TIRE PRESSURE / AIR LEAK ISSUES:
We are not responsible for leaking wheels. Our wheels are checked prior to leaving our facility. In most cases, leaking issues are the result of installation error such as mounting tires incorrectly, mounting tpms incorrectly, valve stem, etc.Under no circumstances will we cover a leaking issue. We can, however, assist in the repair such as: sending the installation center silicone sealant or giving instructions on how to properly seal the wheel. We strongly recommend that you use an authorized dealer for tire installation. If you do not, we recommend that you use a company who has experience with an aftermarket one and three-piece high-performance wheels.
We are not responsible for vibration. All wheels are balanced for run-out under 15 thousandths, meaning our tolerances are very strict & far exceed the normal industry standards of 30-50 thousands max run-out tolerances. Should there be a vibrating wheel, contact your dealer who installed the wheels or mounted the tires as most likely the tires were not balanced correctly or were improperly mounted. In order to properly ensure that every single wheel leaves our facility within approved run-out tolerance, we document every aspect of the qc inspection upon assembly. In addition, each individual wheel has a video clip documenting the run-out test / micrometer read out to ensure that no wheel leaves our facility with the possibility of a vibration issue. These files are kept online for public access, at any time, and also include qc photo documentation of each wheel in order to ensure that they have no flaws upon leaving our facility.
IT IS NOT OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO MEET A CERTAIN DEADLINE FOR YOUR WHEELS TO BE DELIVERED UNLESS WE PROVIDE WRITTEN GUARANTEE VIA EMAIL, FAX OR PRINT. NO OTHER CIRCUMSTANCES WILL APPLY.
WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU ALWAYS KEEP YOUR EXISTING WHEELS AND TIRES IN CASE THESE WHEELS NEED TO BE REPAIRED FOR ANY REASON. WE CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS SHOULD YOUR WHEELS NEED REPAIR OR WARRANTY WORK.
WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR MISSED DEADLINES, VEHICLE STORAGE, OR ANY OTHER INTERNAL EXPENSES CAUSED BY ANY DELAY IN YOUR ORDERS PRODUCTION.
We do not offer any credit terms to any vendors. A minimum of 50% deposit is required to start production of any order, Until this deposit is received and cleared by our accounting department, the order will remain pending and will NOT be input into production schedule. This deposit is non-refundable. We accept payment via wire transfer, company check, cashier’s check, money order or cash. Once the order is in its final stage of completion, we will contact you and will require the payment of the remaining balance prior to shipping the set. This automatically-generated email is sent once the set reaches final stage which could be up to 10 business days before the set is actually ready to ship. Once the remaining balance is received, the order will be cleared for shipping within 24 hours unless the set is not yet complete. In this case, it will be shipped out the day they are complete with no additional accounting clearance needed. Our production system works on the shipping clearance authorization of both accounting and production. Once both final stage reports are marked as complete, the set will automatically be added to the next business day’s shipping list.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
In order to protect both parties from any errors, we require a formal, detailed purchase order with associated PO number (if necessary) for every individual order placed. Read details below:
Submit your purchase order to us via fax, or email.
Your PO must include:
- Wheel style
- Diameter front and rear
- Center disc finish
- Lip finish Inner finish
- Custom finishing options if any
- Vehicle year make and model
- OEM brakes or aftermarket – if aftermarket, provide brand and part number as well as schematics if available.
- Vehicle specifics, i.e. wide body kit, mini tub, lowered, etc.
- notes such as preferred fitment style, i.e., aggressive, conservative, etc.
Check this invoice carefully. We are not responsible for anything other than what is listed regardless of any prior correspondence including verbal and / or email. Should this invoice require a revision or addition, you have 24 hours to respond with your revisions in order to avoid any fees. Failure to do so will result in the order proceeding through production exactly as described on the invoice regardless of the specifications listed being correct or not. It is your responsibility to check for any mistakes or potentially incorrect details of any sort. Any revisions requested after the 24 hour grace period will require a $250 fee plus any added item costs should any work already have been performed. If the order is too far into production for any changes to be made, you will be responsible for any material & machining costs incurred on any work performed. Any verbal or written details provided on an order are not the responsibility of ADV.1 unless listed on the invoice. Should you overlook any details on the invoice, it is your responsibility to notify us within 24 hours; or by default the order will proceed as described on the invoice provided. You are responsible for checking the details of the order. Your approval of the specifications listed in the invoice, constitutes your acceptance of responsibility that such fitment specifications will properly fit the intended vehicle application based on information you have supplied to ADV1. If resulting wheel manufactured by ADV1 does not properly fit the vehicle for any reason other than a material defect in workmanship, rework charges will apply for any manufacturing required to correct the wheels.
IF WE DO NOT RECEIVE WRITTEN COMMUNICATION REFLECTING CHANGES WITHIN 24 HOURS, WE WILL ASSUME THAT THE ORDER IS CORRECT AND WILL PROCEED WITH PRODUCTION AS LISTED ON THE INVOICE. ONCE PRODUCTION BEGINS, CHANGES MAY BE GRANTED AT THE DISCRETION OF ADV.1 ON A CASE-BY-CASE BASIS DEPENDING ON THE REQUEST / ORDER DETAILS.
Once the 24 hour grace period has ended, we will begin production on the order as specified on the invoice. Written or verbal confirmation is not required, the order will proceed automatically unless otherwise instructed.
Orders can be tracked via our online production status system which contains the order details and current status of every individual order. This system is updated weekly at a minimum. Should you need a more detailed or immediate status update, you are always welcome to email your request for status to firstname.lastname@example.org or call our service department at 305.238.0058 right away.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION SUMMARY:
ADV.1 Wheels is a company based on producing what we call a “prototype” or custom individually engineered and manufactured wheel made to our customer’s exact specification. They are not intended to be mass-produced, high-volume manufacturing style wheels. Instead, they are low volume, high quality, individualized wheels made for the clientele who understands and appreciates this. They are not intended to compete with other wheel brands which may very well be produced faster and for less money. We choose to focus on design, quality, and service. Our production / manufacturing system is not designed for high volume or quick completion, and we’ve never advertised our wheels as this kind of product. For those clients under the assumption that we are operating with this intent and / or require a wheel that is comparable to others in terms of lead time and pricing, our process may not be best suited for this type of client request. Our clientele consists mainly of automotive enthusiasts who understand that quality takes time and who clearly can identify the differences between these wheels and others. They are not for everyone and are not intended for a wide audience. When ordering ADV.1 Wheels we prefer that you or your client fully understand this and are advised on our company policies, lead times and reasoning behind these details. We understand that some clients do not need anything more than what is normally offered by other wheel brands, and we respect the decision not to buy our wheels if this is the case.
