Ever since Ferrari “replaced” the 458 Italia with the 488 GTB, we cannot but think how well the 458 Italia was designed & built back in the day. The design of the car is almost ten years old – released back in 2008 – and the vehicle still looks as fly as ever. When you add a striking Grigio Silverstone Metallic finish and a set of ADV10 M.V2 SL Series wheels to the mix, the end result is a thing of perfection.
The Ferrari 458 Italia was produced from 2009 to 2015 when it was replaced by its successor, the 488 GTB. While the 458 faces some stiff competition these days, upon release, the 458 Italia was by our own opinion, the most beautiful vehicle available on the market those days. Ferrari released the 458 with a 4.5-liter V8 engine for this beast. Derived from the Ferrari and Maserati F136 engine family, the V8 powerplant produced 570 horsepower and 540 N⋅m (398 lb⋅ft) of torque. Thanks to a dual-clutch 7-Speed transmission system – the only option provided for this vehicle – the car is able to sprint from 0-100km/h (0-62mph) in 2.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 340km/h (210mph), while consuming around 13.3l/100km (21.2mpg).
Additionally, this was the fourth road-car after the Enzo, Challenge Stradale and 430 Scuderia that was not offered with Ferrari’s classic gated manual. Actually, the Ferrari 458 Italia was the first mainstream model to not be offered with a manual transmission. Not that anyone actually would mind that.
This build comes from Road Rich Motors, out of Newport Beach, California. The tuner upgraded this Grigio Silverstone Metallic Ferrari 458 Italia with a set of ADV10 M.V2 SL Series wheels. The wheels comer sized 20×8.5 in the front and 20×11 in the rear, giving the 458 Italia a much aggressive stance & overall look. Additionally, the wheels feature a Matte Black finish and an Exposed Hardware option. The end result is something that will be the object of appreciation anywhere in the world. Not bad for a gal that’s almost ten years old.
