In the last few years, we’ve seen a palpable rise in the number of aftermarket builds featuring some sort of a camouflage wrap. Certainly, quite a popular cosmetic addition in the tuning world, as it’s added to almost everything ranging from VW Golf GTIs to BMW M6 Gran Coupes, adding these vehicles a rather unorthodox look. This M6 Gran Coupe comes from Bahrain, and it features a digital blue camouflage wrap, alongside ADV.1 Wheels that were installed. The build was done by our partners in the area, Bespoke Automotive who ensured that both the wrap and the wheel installation went without a hitch entirely.
The build started off as a “standard” BMW M6 Gran Coupe. Revealed in 2013., The BMW M6 Gran Coupe followed the lineage od it’s highly-successful BMW M6 Coupe relatives, in both performance and appeal. Even though the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe is slightly bigger than the Audi A7 and Mercedes-Benz CLS, it clearly competed with these models from the other two of the German big three in the car makers world.
Yes, the M6 Gran Coupe is quite a powerful beast, as it is powered by a 4.4 liter BMW TwinPower Turbo engine delivering 560 horsepower (412 kW) and maximum torque of 502 lb-ft (680 Newton meters). This results in a rather fast 0-62 mph (0-100km/h) run of just 4.2 seconds. The M6 (both the Coupe and Gran Coupe versions, naturally) will hit their electronically-limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).
However, an unrestricted (limiter removed) BMW M6 can hit a top speed of over 186 mph (300 km/h). Not a bad starting point for a car build, that’s for sure.
The owner of this vehicle wanted to create a unique exterior look for his vehicle. He thus went with a wrap & aftermarket wheels for his ride. Our partners in the area – Bespoke Automotive – added both the digital blue camo wrap and the aftermarket wheels. Their customer opted out for a set of ADV5.2 Track Spec SL wheels. A lightweight option, these wheels come in sizes of 21×9.5 and 21×11 in the front and rear, respectively. The customer opted out for an exposed titanium hardware option – colormatched to the blue camo wrap on the vehicle – together with a Manbronze finish for both the wheel face and lips.
Furthermore, the BMW M6 features a few IND Distribution cosmetic details. The build is wrapped by an Akrapovic Evolution exhaust system, giving the M6 more power and torque, better throttle response and a more powerful sound note as well. Check the full build gallery right below.
