According to some reports, the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG was the first AMG-Mercedes designed from the ground up by the German auto company. While the predecessors essentially featured “bolt on” performance modifications, the 2008 C63 AMG featured a completely different approach to high-performance, design and handling. For example, the C63 AMG has a revised front end suspension, taken from the CLK 63 AMG Black Series. It also features an option where the ESP can be completely turned off, interfering only under heavy braking and allowing for more pin-point cornering action.

The previous-generation C63 AMG is powered by the much famed AMG 6.2L V8 engine delivering 451 hp and 443 lb·ft of torque, powering the rear wheels. Furthermore this model of the high-performance sedan, despite being de-tuned (when compared to other AMG offerings using the same powerplant), still kicked ass. It actually produced more horsepower and torque when compared to direct rivals such as the Audi RS4 and the BMW M3. Add the 7G-Tronic automatic transmission and this beast takes off rather nicely!

The Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG comes with three shift modes available: Comfort, Sport and Manual. Thanks to lightning speed shifts, the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG, as said, can certainly haul some ass.

At the time, the C63 AMG was tested by Car and Driver Magazine, where the journalists of said magazine managed to record a 0–60 mph time of 3.9 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 12.3 seconds at 116 mph (187 km/h). At the time, this was the fastest four-door production sedan in the world, at the time of its debut. This clearly makes the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG a great start to an aftermarket project.

This C63 AMG comes with a set of aftermarket wheels. Naturally, they are ADV.1’s and in this case, the ADV10.0 M.V2 CS Series wheels were selected. The ADV10.0 MV.2 come with a contemporary spoke design, adding a perfect aftermarket detail to a build like this. With color-matched exposed hardware, the polished matte brown finish and utmost perfect fitment, the owner of this Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG is clearly a popular sight anywhere he takes his vehicle.
